The Library is located on the 1st floor of the Cultural Center and comprises a lending and information departments.
The Lending Department consists of approximately 5.000 volumes of general and specific interests, so as to cover the needs of the Tegea as well as the greater area public. The material is mostly in Greek but English books are also available.
The Information Department is located separately and consists of material that cannot be borrowed but is offered for in-house use only, i.e.:
- old and rare editions and books that are no longer available in the market.
- periodicals, encyclopedia, art books, multi-volume series, and books and editions of general information.
The library’s material is classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification and the general subjects covered are the following:

- 100 Philosophy-Psychology
- 200 Religion
- 300 Social Science
- 400 Linguistics
- 500 Technical Science
- 600 Applied Science
- 700 Art
- 800 Literature
- 900 History-Geography
The “Public Benefit Foundation Michael N. Stassinopoulos - VIOHALCO” has introduced Children's Reading Club in 2009 and intends to introduce a similar one for adults in 2010, in order to kindle the habit of reading and the love for knowledge among the people of all ages. It concerns small groups who meet regularly in the Library, select the books they wish to read and discuss the contents and/or the author.
